Don’t you ever have those days where all you want to do is curl up in a giant, cozy blanket? While this idea sounds absolutely amazing just about every day during the cold winter, there’s no way a blanket as snuggly as this won’t be of use all year around.
Because this blanket is massive, you’re obviously going to need some very large knitting needles to make your own. That’s where the PVC pipes come in. Plus, the wool rovings are quite thick, which means this chucky blanket actually doesn’t require that many stitches and won’t take you a lot of time to make.
The knitting process itself should only take about two to four hours, depending on your knitting speed. However, you do need to felt the wool for a couple of hours and allow it to dry overnight as well. If you’re unsure how to felt the wool, click here for more details.
