Easy Slow Cooker Chicken with Stuffing Recipe

Who doesn’t love stuffing? It is everyone’s comfort food that’s best served with savory gravy, generously poured all over the top.

Unfortunately, it’s also one of those ‘special’ dishes that you only get to enjoy during Thanksgiving, because most people assume that it’s hard to prepare this dish– it’s time consuming and impractical. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to prepare this dish more often than that?

Well, you’re in for a treat! Jen, from Cincy Shopper came up with the best stuffing recipe that would allow you to prepare this mouth-watering dish using a slow cooker!

Believe it or not, you can actually make this dish using only four ingredients, and your trustee crock pot! The taste? It’s as good as the traditional one served during thanksgiving!

Jen loves to share about her cooking adventures, and this was her latest addition. She discovered this ingenious recipe one weekend, and it’s probably the best crock-pot meal she has ever made. Even if you’re on a tight budget, you can prepare this meal as well, because all you need is a couple of chicken breasts, stuffing, and you’ll have the comfort food your whole family would enjoy.
It’s the perfect meal that would give you the holiday vibe, yet it’s also ideal for those busy nights where you don’t have much time to cook.

Preparing this meal is fairly simple.

Jen started by placing the boneless chicken breast in the bottom of the slow cooker– don’t forget to grease it first! Then, she sprinkled some salt and pepper to taste, and added the stuffing.

In a separate bowl, two cans of chicken broth and chicken soup were combined, and she slowly poured this over the stuffing and onto the chicken. To ensure that every part is well coated, Jen gave the chicken a stir, and covered the pot.

When it was done, Jen transferred the stuffing onto the plates, sliced the chicken into bite-sized pieces and added some veggies on the side.

What’s good about this recipe is that you don’t have to follow the measurements as is. You can cut it in half if you live alone, or have a smaller.

As for those with bigger families, getting larger chicken breasts are better, because they expand well and can be packed with a lot of stuffing.

Overall, it’s a simple recipe that anyone can prepare! A perfect comfort food for all.
